Attention PCTVS students! Do you want to earn community service and volunteer hours? Do you want to travel to different high schools? Do you want a guaranteed seat at football games? Do you want to tell security guards you’re with the band? Well if you do, the marching band needs you to be a roadie and help us move equipment! This Wednesday there is a meeting for the Education Foundation Golf Outing, If you have missed other meetings and are interested in helping out at the Golf Outing to benefit scholarships for students, please meet in the all purpose room at 3:15. Dont forget to send in your reservation to join us for Golf that day or just for dinner at the Brownstone.

Come to our Interest Meeting on Monday, September 29 in the STEM Lecture Hall right after school. No experience is necessary….just bring your curiosity and your voice! All grade levels and academies are welcome.
Are you interested in a career in education? Do you enjoy working with young children? If so, the Future Educators Association (FEA) is the club for you! This is a great opportunity to meet college representatives, ask questions, and explore your future options—so be sure to make the most of it!
We have some exciting news to share about our incredible PCTVS Marching Band! This past Saturday, September 13, our band took the field at Passaic Valley High School for their first competition of the season—and they absolutely crushed it! Here are the amazing results: 1st Place – Group IVA Best Music – Group IVA Best Visual – Group IVA Best Overall Effect – Group IVA A huge round of applause for our talented students! Their hard work, dedication, and passion are paying off in a big way—let’s all give them a big cheer when we see them around school!

Highlights: The Boys Varsity Soccer Team went to Passaic yesterday, and secured the 3-1 victory! After trailing 1-0, Tyler Vogel put the Bulldogs on the board with a phenomenal goal, assisted from Ben Irizzary. The Bulldogs continued to dominate, with Elliot Rivera netting the second goal, and game winner, assisted by Ben Irizarry. Adrian Ormeno scored the 3rd goal to seal the victory, with the assist from Andres Garcia. In net, Jesus Montiel-Gonzalez got the win, with 8 saves. Highlights: Freshman boys soccer team defeated Passaic 6-0. Two goals came from Captain John Porcelli, two goals from Brendan Gordon, 1 goal from Jayden Robles, and 1 goal from Mylez Ferguson. The boys freshman soccer improved to 3-1 on the season.

All proceeds go towards scholarships for our students. Emma Grygus and Andrea Alvarado-Gamarra came out strong with a powerful doubles win, showing off great teamwork and consistency on the court. Highlights: Congratulations to the Boys JV soccer team on their win over St Joes Metuchen. The Bulldogs were down 1-0 going into the half. The bulldogs started the second half strong and put two goals in to win the game. Aiden Gopie and Charlie Conroy each had a goal. Samuel Brahin had an assist that led to the game winning goal. The defense played great all game and were anchored by Centerbacks Yussef Tiemoko and Steven Laracuente. The bulldogs go to West Milford Tuesday.

Highlights: The varsity girls volleyball team picked up their first win of the season in exciting fashion, coming back to defeat West Orange, 2-1. Gia Stipo paced the attack with 12 kills, while Alyse Stuber added 10 kills, Reese Everett chipped in 6 kills, and Kayla Vicioso contributed 4 kills. Setters Edisel Pena and Bryanna Castellano Melendez orchestrated the offense with 15 and 12 assists, respectively. Bianca Chiarella provided some serving punch with 6 service points and 3 aces. And Cecilia Aquino anchored the defense with 12 digs and added 7 aces as well. The team's next game is today at Hackensack. Go Bulldogs!
