The Student Personnel Services Department at Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools is dedicated to supporting the academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being of every student. Our team works in partnership with families, educators, and the community to ensure students have the tools, resources, and guidance they need to thrive in high school and beyond.

The school counselors at PCTVS are here to serve as advocates for the students and provide the vital link between the school, home, special services, and outside agencies. Through the School Counseling Department, students are provided with assistance and information related to course selections, college and career planning, and personal/social development.

PCTVS Student Wellness Center

As part of our multi-tiered system of support, the Student Wellness Center and SEL program helps students develop a self-awareness of their needs and emotions, strategies to improve self-regulation, personal actions, & time management, build self-efficacy, and access to programs to improve social awareness and good decision making, all while building positive relationships with peers and staff.

The Teen Center offers an array of services for any PCTVS student who wishes to participate. Participation is completely voluntary, and a parental consent form is required prior to accessing services.
