PCTVS Morning Traffic Pattern Map – Effective 09-02-25
Dear PCTVS Community :
This letter is to provide an update on the construction on Oldham Road. This county project is expected to last 18 months and aims to improve safety and efficiency by widening the road and installing sidewalks, storm drains, and traffic control devices at key intersections.
We are collaborating with the County of Passaic, area law enforcement, and neighboring facilities to streamline traffic flow. New traffic patterns have been developed for PCTVS, including dedicated entrances for families, employees, and buses. To ensure timely arrival and departure, students are strongly encouraged to use the available school buses.
Families Enter from Reinhardt Road (Student Drop-Off)
Families dropping off students should use the Reinhardt Road entrance.
Drop-off points are at the Upper Lobby (by Main Gym) or STEM Academy.
Reinhardt Road will operate as a one-way entrance from 7 am to 8 am
Employees Enter from Kattak Parkway or Reinhardt Road (Kattak opens 6:30am)
Kattak Parkway is for employees-only.
Employees may also enter via Reinhardt Road through the gate behind the Rocco Building or continue up to faculty/staff parking lot(s).
Reinhardt Road will operate as a one-way entrance from 7am to 8am.

PCTVS Campus Afternoon Traffic Pattern
Plans remain the same as last year.

Construction Advisory
Please be aware that ongoing construction may cause occasional road closures, detours, or delays. We will share information as early as possible. In the meantime, please consider the following guidance:
Plan extra travel time when arriving on campus.
Be patient and cautious while driving in and around the school.
Follow guidance on signage and from traffic personnel.
Students are encouraged to ride available buses to school.
This roadway project may cause temporary inconvenience; however, it provides a permanent solution to traffic safety and control issues. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your building principal. Thank you for your patience and anticipated cooperation.
